Proactive Digital ("we," "us," "our") is a web design service based in Chesterfield, Virginia, operated by Todd Blackwell Jr. under TRB Family Business. Our website is getproactivedigital.com. You can reach us at hello@getproactivedigital.com.

Information you give us directly
When you fill out our contact form, email us, or book a call, we collect:

- Your email address
- Your business name (if provided)
- Any message or project details you share
- Which package you're interested in
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we collect basic technical info when you visit:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser and device type
- Pages visited and time spent
- Referrer (the link that sent you here)
With your permission, Google Analytics helps us understand visits, pages viewed, contact-link clicks, booking-link clicks, and contact forms accepted by our website host. Clicking a booking link does not mean a booking was completed. Our analytics integration does not send your contact-form name, email, business details, or message to Google. Page URLs sent by our integration exclude query strings and fragments.
During a client project
If you hire us, we'll collect whatever information is needed to build your site: logos, photos, business content, payment details for invoicing, and any login credentials you share for third-party services we integrate. We only collect what the project requires.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiries. If you fill out a form, we use your info to reply, answer questions, and send quotes.
- To deliver your project. For clients, we use your content and credentials to build and launch your site.
- To send occasional updates. You may get follow-up emails about your project or future improvements. You can opt out any time.
- To improve the site. Analytics reports help us understand which pages and contact paths are useful.
We do not sell your data, rent your email list, or share your info with advertisers.
4. Tools we use
We rely on trusted third-party services to operate the business, which may include:
- A website hosting and form-submission provider
- Google Analytics 4 for website usage reporting when you allow analytics. Google processes usage and device information and uses cookies to distinguish visits. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- A scheduling platform if you book a call with us
- An email marketing platform if you opt in to our list
- A payment processor for invoicing and client billing
These providers are selected for their security and privacy standards. Specific providers may change over time without affecting this policy. Contact us if you'd like to know which service handles a specific piece of your data.
5. Cookies
Google Analytics loads only after you select “Allow analytics.” Choose “No thanks” to browse without it. We store your choice in your browser. Use “Analytics choices” at the bottom of any public page to change it; withdrawing permission stops our Analytics tracking and removes its first-party cookies. Our implementation disables advertising storage, advertising user data, Google signals, and ad personalization. Blocking analytics does not prevent you from contacting us, booking a call, or using payment links.
6. How long we keep your data
Contact form submissions stay in our hosting platform's dashboard indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. Client project data is kept for as long as we're working with you, plus a reasonable archive period for reference. If you want anything deleted, just ask.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Ask what information we have about you
- Correct anything that's wrong
- Request deletion of your data
- Opt out of any marketing emails (every email has an unsubscribe link)

8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption, secure password practices, and working with reputable service providers. That said, no system is 100% secure. If we ever become aware of a data breach that affects you, we'll let you know promptly.
9. Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will tell you when. Significant changes get a notice on the homepage or by email if you're a client.
